I’m a Founder, Executive & Team Coach who used to be a Product Exec in high-growth startups.

I’m also a Partner at Evolution, Silicon Valley's premier coaching and consulting firm, partnering with start-up and high-growth companies to drive long-term, holistic success through developing leadership, alignment, and culture.

My coaching approach is based on a depth-oriented, always-on, trusted relationship.

  • It’s as much about who you are and want to be, as it is about the firsts you’re navigating.

  • I’m there to support as and when needed - some clients send me board or pitch decks for feedback, involve me in key hiring decisions, or simply use me as a sounding board after a tough day.

  • It means that I become an extension of you and your team (as much as you want me to).

You can read more about my beliefs around coaching in The Coaching Manual.

My story

I had a career as a product operator and leader in high-growth, VC-backed companies that raised hundreds of millions and some were valued in the billions.

The irony is that I worked on products for people dealing with addiction that transformed people's health for the better, but made mine worse in the process.

Alongside my startup career I became a teacher of ashtanga yoga and meditation after the abusive relationship of a family member sent me down a new path in life.

I developed a passion for coaching through my experiences of working with an Exec Coach as a client. I had had to navigate so many firsts, and found the support of a coach to be invaluable, so I went on to train as a transformational coach through Animas, before further training with Aletheia and then getting credentialed through the ICF, eventually turning coaching into my full-time job.

I’m lucky enough to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across industries such as healthtech, wellness, climatetech, biosciences and generative AI, who’ve collectively raised hundreds of millions from some of the world’s best known VCs.

I’m also a European-based Partner at Evolution, Silicon Valley's premier coaching and consulting firm

And I’m a messy human just like everyone else. I continue to work hard to cultivate the right mindset and to find a life that balances the things that are important to me. I'm passionate about doing the work alongside my clients.

Why I Coach

  • We need more great leaders & teams

There are so many important problems in the world, and so many smart people trying to solve them, but the sad truth is the vast majority of them fail - not because they weren’t smart enough or their idea wasn’t good enough but because of avoidable missteps on the journey. I believe in cultivating a generation of self-aware, creative, resilient leaders & teams who will be at the forefront of critical change.

  • I believe the right coaching has impact

There’s something special in a great coaching relationship. Something that not only allows a client to tap into an innate creativity and resourcefulness to solve current problems, but becomes a catalyst to understand and then shift their patterns of being, enabling them to show up differently in all walks of life. I play that role for purpose-driven people working on important problems.

  • I blend a diverse set of experiences

I’ve got a degree in economics & management, had a product career building products for challenges such as opioid addiction, taught yoga and meditation, built and coached teams as a startup exec, trained as a coach, and turned coaching into my ‘day job’. I like to think that this is what I do best and will become my life’s work, but I lean on all of those experiences in my coaching.

Outside work

I live with my wife, Sophie, and our beloved dog, Otis. We are based in London but currently split our time between London and the French Basque Country where we love to spend our time surfing and enjoying the Basque way of life.
