I’m a Coach.

I help Co-Founders to navigate firsts and to build a foundation for success.

My coaching approach is based on a depth-oriented, always-on, trusted relationship.

  • It’s as much about who you are and want to be, as it is about the firsts you’re navigating.

  • I’m there to support as and when needed - some clients send me board or pitch decks for feedback, involve me in key hiring decisions, or simply use me as a sounding board after a tough day.

  • It means that I become an extension of you and your team (as much as you want me to).

How does it work?

I work with purpose-driven Co-Founders navigating a lot of firsts for a minimum 6 month commitment.

Format

  • We’ll blend individual coaching with team coaching by setting up a regular cadence of 1-1 sessions, team sessions and team observation.

  • I will send detailed email summaries and resources as a followup.

  • Outside of those sessions I believe in an always-on approach so I’m there to support as needed. I’ve recently had clients send me pitch and board decks for thoughts, discuss rebranding dilemmas, have me involved in key hiring decisions, and used me as a sounding board after a particularly tough day.

Approach:

I believe that the most effective Co-Founder coaching finds a balance between the needs of the individual and the needs of the team; and the issues and topics that arise in the moment, vs. bigger themes that might set the foundation for success.

  • To begin with we’ll typically focus on better understanding the individuals and the team dynamics. That comes through our conversations, me observing a meeting, and there’s also the option for me to do 360 reviews in your org, and even speak to close friends and family if you wish.

  • We’ll agree on purpose and outcomes.

  • We’ll discuss the different ways we could work together on those themes and agree a path forward for the individual and team coaching streams.

  • We collectively agree to a confidentiality agreement in which I won’t ever divulge something that has been discussed in 1-1 coaching sessions, but I might raise some common themes I’m seeing.

My style of coaching is holistic and informed by my time leading product in high-growth startups; coach training in areas of neuroscience, behaviour change, therapy and organisational systems; years of teaching yoga and meditation; and first hand experience of coaching a diverse portfolio of co-founders.
